Heritage Finance Company, Inc. is a family owned company proudly serving our local customers right here in Western North Carolina. The company was founded in Marion, NC in 1998 by Mr. Don Harrison. His widow and children now own the company. Mr. Steve Harrison serves as the company President.

The company has expanded from a single office located in Marion, NC and now operates in five WNC cities; Marion, Waynesville, Arden, Burnsville, and Lenoir. Each office provides a friendly family atmosphere and strives to help our neighbors by providing financial loans in the most effective way possible. While we cannot help everyone, we do try. Our knowledgeable staff has worked in the finance industry for 25 years and all branches are prepared to help you meet your financial needs.

We are a financial institution offering quality affordable small loans including Starter Loans, Auto Loans, Personal Loans and Retail Sales Loans to our community members. 1.Call your local office and make a payment via Credit Card.

   2. Call your local office when you arrive and we can take your payment while you stay in your car.

We can also process a loan for you by using our online application and a phone call with one of our associates.
If approved we can bring you your cash and have you sign paperwork from your car as well. We apologize for any inconvenience and pray you all stay safe during this outbreak.

HFC offers the consumer sales loan which is especially useful to the consumer wanting to purchase a tangible item or service such as an appliance, mower, furniture, wheels and tires and more. This loan may also be used to purchase needed services such as roof repair, auto repair, home improvement services and others. This loan is offered at a rate less than a personal loan or an auto loan to well-qualified consumers. Sales accounts provide a means for financing planned purchases over a fixed period of time.

HFC offers auto loans on vehicles of all ages, makes, and models and on vehicles with mileage up to 180,000. Want that dream car or the family has grown out of your current car? This loan enables the borrower to finance a vehicle over a set period of time. Many consumers cannot afford to pay for a vehicle out-of-pocket. Some (most) banks will not finance vehicles over five years old or with mileage over 150,000. HFC offers these loans up to $10,000. HFC requires all vehicles to be appraised by HFC staff.
